Rhwng Dau Fyd

Rhwng Dau Fyd

The culmination of a year long Directors Course run by Living Pictures, in association with Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and Sherman Cymru.

In Rhwng Dau Fyd, 3 out of the 5 directors on the course will direct a new play each that will all be staged on the same night.  The Directors are Ffion Haf, Wyn Mason and Ffion Dafis.

Daf is desperate to find his voice - but who is the girl behind the door? Ceri and Glyn are game players - but what game will awaken them from their nightmare?

What’s Marjory’s role in life? To serve her mother and father, or to lead the dead to the afterlife?

Welcome to a place between two worlds, which is neither dream nor reality.

A contemporary response to the folk tale of Blodeuwedd (The Woman of Flowers) in the form of three new plays:

Gwagle by Branwen Davies

Man Gwyn Man Draw by Meic Povey

Marjory by Caryl Lewis.
